Mechanical Splice
The mechanical eye splice is produced by dividing the wire rope in half (3 strands one side and 3 strands and the core one side). These are then spliced to form a flemish eye with the tails covered with a carbon steel sleeve and pressed to secure eye and 100% strength of wire rope.

Can fail if damaged, misused, or overloaded. Inspect before use. Use only if trained. Observe rated capacity. DEATH or INJURY can occur from improper use or maintenance.
